Purpose:

The CONOX sensor is designed to help anesthesiologists assess the depth of anesthesia and the patient's response to pain during procedures. 

Mechanism:

It uses a small, disposable sensor with wet gel electrodes that are placed on the forehead. The sensor measures brain activity (EEG) and translates it into qCON and qNOX indices.
